Fairyland Children’s Book Fest- Sept 21st

Eyy, this Fall I will be at Fairyland again for their annual “Children’s Book Festival” featuring over 30 kidlit creators.

What is this? It’s a kid-lit event that brings Bay Area children’s literature authors and illustrators together with families for a full day of read-alouds and more. My book “Fresh Juice” will be available to buy from “Books on B” and I’d be happy to autograph it for you or your child! Tickets are available now: fairyland.org/book-festival

Check out the line up of who will be there! And come get your book signed:)

I’ll be at Fairyland June 3rd 2023

Its been so long since I was last at Fairyland for their annual book events. This year I’ll be there along with 30 other authors and illustrators like Kim Ko, Nidhi Chanani, Christian Robinson, Angela Dalton, and the Leticia Hernandez-Linares who wrote “Alejandria Fights Back!”

Come meet me in person at the Children’s Fairyland Book Festival on Saturday, June 3! It’s a kid-lit event that brings Bay Area children’s literature authors and illustrators together with families for a full day of read-alouds and more. Alejandria Fights Back (Leticia Hernandez-Linares/Rise Home Stories project), We Are Yoga (Jill Guerra), and Sam! (Dani Gabriel) will be available to buy from The Collective Oakland, and I’ll be happy to autograph it for your kiddo!

UnPeeled reading w/ Bananas

April 23rd I’ll be reading for “UnPeeled” for a local children’s organization called “BANANAS” who helped me and my family out a bunch when my kids were their youngest. If you’re in the Bay, come to Fairyland and hear myself and Angela Dalton will be reading that day.

Fairyland fundraiser-Sept 26th

Fam, I’ve been invited to read aloud for Celebrity Story time, an online benefit for Children’s Fairyland! They have big plans to better represent *all* families at the park w/ a digital library. And they’re celebrating the 70th anniversary of Fairyland which I went to as a child and took my son to. I’ve also had the chance to read at “Turn the Page”. An annual event held at Fairyland to share great stories and Bay Area storytellers with their loyal attendees and supporters.

Tune in at 6:30 p.m. PST on Saturday, September 26th. Register now at bit.ly/Fairyland70 – it’s
