To keep it simple– This book is for young kids ages 8-14 who are just starting to become artists! Its for young adults ages 15-22 who already know they love to make art.
How do I know? I have spent the better part of my life working with young people as a teaching artist and as an author/illustrator. I have seen them light up w/ the power of art!
And as I’ve mentioned before, this is for those kids who don’t like reading. I was one of them . But my mom helped me pursue my passion and I believe books like mine can help kids pursue theirs.
And its for you, adults who love art. THANK YOU!!!

One foot after the other, thank you to all my folks who have supported this project by donating, sharing, etc. Hella appreciate you. The best way for me to describe it is for you to WATCH THE CAMPAIGN VIDEO. That way you can get an idea for what i’m making and why.
So when I tell folks about a picture book they get it right away! But for an art book like this, there’s always some question marks. So lemme explain a bit. Check out my art book here.
If you’ve been paying attention I have been talking about “art books” for years now with videos like this. But ok, now that I’ve defined it for you, lemme share some of the books I be talking about so you can get a vibe. See below.
Ok, now that you see these i’m talking about putting these books in front of older elementary, middle school, and even some high school age kids so they can get inspired to be creative, learn some shit about their favorite game, film, sneaker, design, etc. It gets them to unplug from a screen for a minute, annnnd here’s another cool part-it gets them to read. It might just be a few paragraphs at first, but i promise if you get them books about their favorite thing they are going to pick it up. Not only will they learn about that thing but they’re going to be reading for fun! Heres the link to support my book.
My art book has drawings and art which will encourage kids to draw. If they like that it helps them stay OFF the screen, and there are pieces of text within the book too. Check it out.
That’s it fam, thank you so much for reading, supporting, and checking it out.
