School Visit – The Walden School in Berkeley, CA

Recently I got the chance to speak with students and staff from “Walden School” in Berkeley CA. I had a great time sharing Furqan’s First Flat Top with them, my Art of Rob book, and lots about my work in kids books. They had great questions as kids and adults always do so it was fun. Check out some photos!
These photos were taken by Gina Centanni 🙂

Photo of me (Pueblo Nuevo)

This is an old photo of me taken by Bounce from the Pueblo Nuevo days. Pueblo Nuevo was a gallery and community space founded by Miguel Perez , Diana Negrin, and Plinio Hernandez in Berkeley California around the mid 2000s. This photo and others like it were promotional photos meant to spread the word about the gallery which featured many different artists who were established and just starting out.
Check out this old video from Emory Douglas’ show, which I helped install along with the gallery founders.

Ayentee – A year of songs

What up hip hop fans. My homie Ayentee (MC/Producer/Dad) has been making hip hop for over 20 years. He has released several albums and collaborative projects. This year he started a new endeavor to release a song every week I believe. And so far it is has been amazing to hear both content, rhyme, and beat wise! If you’re over 30 you’ll really feel this one. Listen and share!

Buy his first 12 songs, the LP is called “The Fall”
