I love stop motion animation so when I heard of “Self” I was really excited. In the past few years we’ve gotten Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinnochio , Hidari, and Jordan Peele/ Henry Selick’s Wendell & Wild. If you haven’t seen “Self” I encourage you to watch it. Even if you’re boycotting Disney, find it online. This film was a collaboration between Pixar and Tippett Studios.
Hey fam, I hope you’re well. It has been a rough one for me lately but trying to hold on to it. Check out some of these things that have been dope to me recently. Keep going.

Juiced to see this one and the growing shorts, films, etc made with stop motion lately. Here’s a Catsuka article about the film and here is the link to their Kickstarter to make this film.
Yoo, I’m so excited to see this new Guillermo Del Toro film. Not only because he made it and I dig his work, but because I LOVE STOP MOTION ANIMATION! Check out some of these behind the scenes peaks.
And watch the film when it debuts on Netflix next month.
Dig this? Check out the trailer for Wendell & Wild (Henry Selick/Jordan Peele)
Really excited for this new stop motion feature. I love Guillermo Del Toro’s work so this should be scary and magical. The last Stop Motion story I featured was the teaser for Wendell & Wild a film by Henry Selick and Jordan Peele.
Chris is a dope artist who I admire. He straddles the world between animation, sculpture, and illustration. This a short interview with him and a magazine called Alta.
